All students will have to submit a copy of their previous year’s tax assessment, showing Total Income (Line 150), as part of the documentation required to complete their application. Additionally, if married or in a common law relationship, students will have to submit a copy of their spouse/partner’s previous year’s tax assessment, showing Total Income (Line 150), even if not claiming their spouse/partner as a dependent.

Eligibility for living allowance sponsorship may be affected by individual and/or total household income.

For the 2018 tax year and onward, FFWS will NOT be required to issue T4A tax receipts for post secondary student grants. You MAY NOT deduct your tuition on your taxes even if you receive a T2202 tax receipt from your school. If you have further questions, please direct them to a tax professional.
